EHV is a 20-year-old artist from Toronto, Ontario who uses the power of manifestation in his lyrics to speak his dreams into existence.

 

While using elements of Jazz, Modern Hip-Hop, Blues, Funk and R&B in his production, he draws comparisons to artists such as Action Bronson, J Dilla, and Ab-$oul.

 

Growing up in a family with various musical influences, EHV possesses a wide variety of knowledge on many different genres and styles. Although nobody in his family has any FORMAL musical background, he has had a natural skill for writing poetry since he was a child. After finding out he could translate his poetry into lyrics over a beat, he fell in love with the process of making music and began producing, mixing, mastering and engineering everything for himself.

EHV’s single “Natural” released in the summer of 2020 got a lot of attention from press reviewers such as Buzz Music and Melody Bites. this led to him to reaching a total of over 35k streams on Spotify to date.

On Dec 11th EHV released one of his most personal songs to date 'Antisocial'. Displaying a combination of emotional storytelling and smooth/chill old school hip-hop rhythms.

"In a time like now, a lot of people may feel a sense of loneliness because of the lack of social interaction, and right now being social sometimes feels like a crime. 'Antisocial' is a song from the perspective of my very introverted life, going through loneliness AND becoming the independent mogul my family has always wanted me to be. With hopes of teaching the lesson that, the things we want will be found if we work for ourselves; our mind, body and souls. ."
